A big special thank you to the  Conjunto music lovers who came out last  Sunday to support NPCMA.  It was great to see old friends and make many new ones. Your support made our first fundraiser a success.  This will enable NPCMA to move forward with its goal to provide Austin and the country with an understanding and knowledge about Puro Conjunto Music, the music from our heritage.

We feel music has a way of influencing and providing communication through all cultures.  Your continued support will help us achieve our goal of launching community based Conjunto music appreciation programs for all ages.  Our goals are big in taking music from our roots to the masses and making sure we preserve it for generations to come.

To our sponsors, we are so grateful for your sponsorship of this event.  You made  it possible and our Conjunto lovers will not forget you.

And how can I possibly say thank you to the incredible bands that so graciously donated their time?  You are what Conjunto is all about.  You have all been so supportive of this effort and I am happy to call each and everyone of you my friend.   I think our guests were in awe of so much talent in one place.

Our unplugged jam session was a big hit.  Susan Torres did a fantastic job of getting the musicians involved.  The talent was amazing and  I heard many positive comments about it.

Our volunteers were many, both during the event and behind the scenes.  I  want to express my sincere appreciation for all that you did.  Your contributions were laborious but you did it with a smile. .

I have heard so many wonderful compliments about the event. I thank all of you for all the time and effort you put in to make this day possible. You made a lot of incredible people feel very special and for that you are very special to the staff at NPCMA.

With the success of this fundraiser, we are well on our way and we at NPCMA feel privileged to have your support.

Again, thank all of you for your help and generosity.
